For those of you who haven't seen the 3rd documentary video, here it is! Filmed and edited brilliantly by James Henderson.
And please note, no actors were harmed or hurt in anyway during this film!

Jungle Book Photos - Itchen & Marwell
Here are some photos taken from the Jungle Book, at Itchen Valley and Marwell Zoo. First ones up are Itchen Valley!
And now Marwell ones:
Anyone there?
Hello?
Okay, so it's been a loooong time since there's been a blog update from the PYT apologies for that! To keep the blog updated more, Dan and Louise have kindly handed over the responsibility to me (Claudia Hodgson) - one of the PYT members. My ambition is to keep you all updated weekly about what's happening in rehearsals and etc.
So here's a quick look back on what has happened since then and what's to come. Last time we posted, we posted just before Jungle Book happened and it was a huge success at both Itchen Valley and Marwell. We (as in all cast members) are now waiting *patiently* for the CD soundtrack to purchase. We've had a few sneak previews of it randomly throughout rehearsals which brought back many happy memories. Good times indeed!
After Jungle Book of course, auditions and rehearsals for Peter Pan and Little White Bird began. I was very lucky enough to be involved with both shows, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Little White Bird, written and adapted by former PYT member Jonathan Knapp and was brilliantly directed by Louise with the assistance of Alana Sketcher. It was performed beautifully by members of the PYT following the story of David, a young boy who wants to be a little boy forever and doesn't want to grow up. However, once he hears about the story of Peter Pan - the boy who escaped to Kensington Gardens in order to stay a little boy - he changes his mind.
Our trip to Neverland took off after Little White Bird. Directed by Dan and assistant directed by PYT member Richard Gunston. We were also very lucky to have the Point Youth Dance in our show as well, where their incredible dancing talent featured in Neverland, choreographed by the wonderful Jilly! The other most exciting thing about Peter Pan (apart from the sparkly Neverland set and super catchy songs, thank you Carl, Saz and Ivan!) was the fact all 8 shows sold out before the run even began, amazing! As an ASM for the show, it was such a thrill to watch the show from the side of the stage every single night and be able to see the cast members enjoy the show as much the audience members. Pictures to follow soon of pictures from rehearsals/shows!
And NOW, we're into rehearsals for Romeo & Juliet which takes place at the Berry Theatre. This isn't just Romeo & Juliet though, it's Romeo & Juliet with a PYT twist ;-) It's all very exciting as we have a very short amount of time to rehearse, but already it's coming along very nicely. We have Take That and One Direction featuring in our show (of course, not literally, although that would be pretty cool!) As well as the actual show, we have James Henderson (PYT member) making weekly documentaries about the progress of rehearsals up until the show kicks off at the end of February. These will also be posted up on here too if you haven't seen them already.
So as you can see, it has been crazy busy here but very productive and we are all very excited! I hope this first post from me has been interesting enough for you, if you haven't lost interest and you're reading this...then thank you! I promise my web journalism skills will improve in the near future :-)
Keep coming back to check for updates. I've been updating the page with our Tweets and YouTube videos for easier access to them. More pictures and videos will be up soon, and you don't want to miss them!
